If I was to go back I would choose an apartment again because I like to have my space, calm place with not so many people inside and I like to manage all necessary things in the apartment.

Personal comments
Firs six month I lived in a dormitory. It was clean, new, safe and it had all necessary facilities. I was very satisfy. Next year I lived in a private apartment because I needed to have my own space for studying, that was the only reason why I left dormitory.

Why?
Because when I went to Milan, I went there with my girlfriend and we wanted to stay together in the same flat. Therefore if I should go again to Milan it would be with my girlfriend again.

As the accomodation was not organized by the university, a comment on this does not make a lot of sence. But in generall I can say that the accomodation situation in Milan is difficult and rent is expensive. But if you try hard enough you can do it!

Clean, friendly people but 2 people sharing room, no privacy, kitchen etc. too small for all the students living there

because back then there was no students residence on campus, because they were still being built. Now I've told that they're already functioning.
