Personal comments
My study experience was in three different countries (F, UK, Germany). I had to learn 3 different languages as lectures were given every year in a different local language. It was very hard, but extremely challenging and rewarding. This experience gave me the chance to learn 3 foreign languages different from my mother tongue, italian.

In France all students can have a public grant for accomodation. That's not enormous, but it helps you.

Overall
I wish I had known...
I would have preferred to have a better knowledge of the foreign languages. At the beginnig, it was very difficult for me to understand everything. But, as I sais, it was very challenging and I am really proud that I finally suceeded.

In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
This University gives the opportunity to study abroad in three different countries. It is an important academic experience but it is, first of all, a great human experience. i could discover three different cultures, have international friends and meet very talented people. I am really happy I joined this group and I reccomend it to all students which look for an international academic experience and are curious and flexible. You won't be disappointed

Studying at ESCP-EAP is a great experience but requires efforts and sacrifies. It's not always fun, it is often hard work. You are always in movement and when you start appreciating a place it alrady time to move into another. That's part of the game. You move with other students, your friends and you build very striong relationships with them. As i said, it is a huge human experience. Of course you have not to be scared from the idea of travelling, you have to be able to adapt your self to different context and people. And when you do it, you feel stronger. Every day you know you better and learn something new. I am rely happy I did, I would like to have the chance to do it again and I really reccomend it to all students which find this program attractive.

Academic
Course recommendations
We didn't have a big choice, we just had to follow a program, with pre-fixed courses. In my opinion, it would be better to give to students the choice between the courses that they find more interesting, in order to create focused profiles.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
An apartment is the best solution for me. It allows me to organise at best my time and my space and to be totally independent

Personal comments
I have to precise that my studies at ESCP-EAP lasted four years, in three different countries. So I had three different accomodations, three apartments. The first year I shared the apartment with a school mate, the two following years I lived alone in a flat. I really appreciated this second solution. As already said, I was totally independent and I learnt different aspects of day-to-day life (cooking, pressing...). It was a very good experience

I give you my advice on the nightlife in the cities wher I studied:
Paris - simply great, you can find anything you like. I specially enjoyed lounge bars like Sir Winston, Bar Fly, Man ray......and some clubs like Cabaret, Les Planches....
London - even better (according to me), even more international. People coming from all over the world is there and it's easy to talk to them in bars at night. You find two big categories of bars: irish pubs and modern bars. My favourites is Mezzo Bar (near Leicester Sq.). Some good clubs like Café de Paris, China White, The Rock, Inferno...If you like soushi, you have a big choice in London
Berlin - it was a surprise for me, a fast growing city, even in terms of bars and nightlife. The best place to go out at night is Mitte, the old East side of the city. Here you find a lots of little bars where drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is unique. A city to see and to discover. In ten years Berlin will be different, it has to be seen now.
